How It Works
PureMash provides fully automated delivery, control, and monitoring of the anti-microbial program, via the PLC (DCS capable). PureMash application utilizes Common Rail Technology to ensure that the treatment of all applicable process elements is controlled from a single source.

In the standard PureMash application, flow meters and spectrophotometers deliver real-time dosage assurance simultaneously at a number of application points, including:

• The Propagator
• Heat Exchangers
• Fermentor
• CIP

This multiple and simultaneous point application program, combined with DCS-based control, assure a consistent treatment scheme. The versatility of Common Rail Technology also allows the integration of additional application points, depending on the particular needs of the facility.

PureMash provides superior microbiological protection, while possessing a number of advantages over antibiotic-based treatments. A selective, broad spectrum biocide and virucide, PureMash has a synergistic relationship with the yeast, which continue to propagate — and thrive — while competing microbiology is eliminated. Unlike antibiotics, PureMash can treat infections in “real time”, and is not susceptible to developing microbiological resistance. PureMash can be applied to a number of non-traditional infection sources, and leaves no regulated or problematic byproducts in the DDGS.
